FOLLOW ME

JOHN 1:43-51

43 The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, “Come, follow me.” 44 Philip was from Bethsaida, Andrew and Peter’s hometown.
45 Philip went to look for Nathanael and told him, “We have found the very person Moses[a] and the prophets wrote about! His name is Jesus, the son of Joseph from Nazareth.”
46 “Nazareth!” exclaimed Nathanael. “Can anything good come from Nazareth?”
“Come and see for yourself,” Philip replied.
47 As they approached, Jesus said, “Now here is a genuine son of Israel—a man of complete integrity.”
48 “How do ould see you under the fig tree before Philip found you.”

49 Then Nathanael exclaimed, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God—the King of Israel!”

50 Jesus asked him, “Do you believe this just because I told you I had seen you under the fig tree? You will see greater things than this.” 51 Then he said, “I tell you the truth, you will all see heaven open and the angels of God going up and down on the Son of Man, the one who is the stairway between heaven and earth.”you know about me?” Nathanael asked.
Jesus replied,
Hi precious reader and child of the Mighty God of Wonders, you are highly welcomed to this esteemed site, The Stable Sanctuary. From where we are located, we value you so much because as you will realise through this message that Jesus Christ, the son of the Living God preciously values your soul.
He has a high desire for you to succeed in all that you do. He has wonderfully provided his grace daily to be sufficient for all your needs and requirements.
From the scripture outlined above, we find Jesus Christ in Galilee where he is talking to Philip. Jesus said to him, “Follow Me”. This is a profound statement in two words only, yet it meant alot in the life of this man, Philip. The statement is a life changer from nothing to greatness.
The destiny of Philip changed at that very moment in time. It is the same statement that many people all over the world hear deep down I their hearts. Those who heed the call of Jesus Christ never remain the same. No doubt. The same statement is quietly calling you, thus, “Follow Me”.
The author of this statement is Jesus Christ himself; being the Eternal Word of God Almighty.
Later, Philip finds Nathaniel and said to him, “we have found him of whom Moses in the law and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
Nathaniel, by virtue of his statement could not believe what Philip told him. He says, ” can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip tells him, “come and see.”
In the same way, one may not easily believe in Jesus Christ due to one’s doubts, yet, politely I ask you, to doubt your doubts. Thereafter, Jesus Christ saw Nathaniel coming to him and says to him, “Behold an Israelite indeed in whom is no guile.” Here Nathaniel wonder how Jesus had known him. But Jesus tells him, “Before that Philip called you when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
Hey dear precious child of God, as you read this, just know that Jesus Christ knew you before you reach this site. Infact he has known you before you were born. And so he know all your ways and actions. He saw Philip and loved. He saw Nathaniel and he speaks good of him.
And now Nathaniel confesses to Jesus, “Rabbi, (meaning teacher) you are the son of God, you are the King of Israel. All this is happening on their first encounter with Jesus Christ. Very Wonderful.
Now check the response of Jesus, “because I said unto you I saw you under the fig tree you believe? You shall see greater things than these, here after you shall see heaven open and the Angels of God, ascending and descending upon the son of Man.” This statement is a glorious revelation not only to Nathaniel, but to every person who comes to Jesus, believes in him and desires to access the knowledge of God that brings true Freedom.
Jesus Christ is the gate through which when one enters into the things of God, one finds true happiness, fulfillment and joy that is unspeakable. He is the gate through which one finds unlockable possibilities. He stretches out his arms widely open for us to access Him, who is all in all.

THE DIVINE INCLINE PLANE;

GENESIS 28:10-22

Jacob’s Dream at Bethel
10 Meanwhile, Jacob left Beersheba and traveled toward Haran. 11 At sundown he arrived at a good place to set up camp and stopped there for the night. Jacob found a stone to rest his head against and lay down to sleep. 12 As he slept, he dreamed of a stairway that reached from the earth up to heaven. And he saw the angels of God going up and down the stairway.

13 At the top of the stairway stood the Lord, and he said, “I am the Lord, the God of your grandfather Abraham, and the God of your father, Isaac. The ground you are lying on belongs to you. I am giving it to you and your descendants. 14 Your descendants will be as numerous as the dust of the earth! They will spread out in all directions—to the west and the east, to the north and the south. And all the families of the earth will be blessed through you and your descendants. 15 What’s more, I am with you, and I will protect you wherever you go. One day I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have finished giving you everything I have promised you.”

16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I wasn’t even aware of it!” 17 But he was also afraid and said, “What an awesome place this is! It is none other than the house of God, the very gateway to heaven!”

18 The next morning Jacob got up very early. He took the stone he had rested his head against, and he set it upright as a memorial pillar. Then he poured olive oil over it. 19 He named that place Bethel (which means “house of God”), although it was previously called Luz.

20 Then Jacob made this vow: “If God will indeed be with me and protect me on this journey, and if he will provide me with food and clothing, 21 and if I return safely to my father’s home, then the Lord will certainly be my God. 22 And this memorial pillar I have set up will become a place for worshiping God, and I will present to God a tenth of everything he gives me.”
Here is another marvelous episode set in the book of Genesis as illustrated in the bible text above. Here, Jacob was on his way from Beersheba to Haran, the place of his uncle Laban. He reached a certain place and decided to lodge for the night. He found stones and set them as a pillow. He lay down to sleep. Wonder of wonders, he had an exciting dream at night. In the dream he saw a ladder, set up on earth and the top of it reached heaven. He saw angels of God ascending and descending on the ladder, Wow! He saw the Lord stood above the ladder and said, “I am the Lord God of Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac. The land whereon you lie, to you will I give it and to your descendants
And your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth, and you shall spread abroad to the West and to the East and to the North and to the South, and in your descendants shall all the families of the earth be blessed, I am with you, wherever you Go.”
Jacob woke up and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and if not, how dreadful is this place! This is none other but the house of God and this is the Gate of Heaven.”
As you follow the story you realise Jacob was a wise man, He took the stones that he had used for a pillow and set it up for a pillar and poured oil uopn it. He then changed the name of the place from Luz to Bethel. A new beginning indeed. Jacob goes on to say, “And this stone, (representing Jesus Christ) which I have set for a pillar shall be God’s house and all that you shall give me, I will surely give the tenth to you.” This is Jacobs Prayer to God; who is faithful and keeps His promise.
Now dear reader, kindly note the following,
• .That for the first time, God revealed himself to Jacob. God will reveal himself to you, Amen.
* On this night, Jacob was born from Above.
• .The gate of heaven is Jesus Christ; the ladder upon which the angels of God were seen ascending and descending.
• The “stone” is a type of Christ.
• The “Oil” as a symbol of the Holy Spirit.
• Beth-el means “House of God.”

Follow Jesus Christ, Attain access to a prosperous and radiant life. Amen.
