MANIFESTATION OF JESUS CHRIST

LUKE 1: 26-38

Luke 1: 26-38

26 In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, 27 to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28 The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”

29 Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30 But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.”34 “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”

35 The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called[a] the Son of God. 36 Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. 37 For no word from God will ever fail.”

38 “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.

Hi, Precious child of The Mighty God in Heaven. Welcome to the Stable Sanctuary; a site meant for your stable growth and development physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually; which in God’s precious due time shall lead to your economic abundance. From the above illustrated Holy Bible text, we are to learn about the manifestation of Jesus Christ, The son of the Living God . Indeed, there are hidden revelations in God’s word ; which when duly accessed, life changing circumstances begin to crop up. The changes are always for our great benefits on a day to day basis.

Angel Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, was sent to Nazareth a city of Galilee to a virgin girl named Mary. This was six months after Elisabeth had conceived John who was to be a forerunner of Jesus Christ.Remember , the will of God is for you. At that time, Nazareth was less regarded in Israel. Mary was engaged to a man named Joseph. Both were of the lineage of King David of Israel. Note that 2nd Samuel chapter seven indicates that the messiah would come from the House of David. Angel Gabriel saluted Mary, ” Hail, you are highly favoured , the Lord is with you , blessed are you among women ” This is one of the greatest moments in History, the anouncement of the coming birth of the Lord of Glory, Jesus Christ. Madam Mary received signal grace from God . With such great news; even breaking news of the time, Mary was at a total disturbance, she could not comprehend clearly what she had heard being said by the angel. The most wonderful thing is that she faithfully believed the message. She had just received grace from God which enabled her to believe sincerely. Angel Gabriel goes on to explain what would happen to her; “…and shall call His name JESUS” Hebrew: JOSHUA, meaning “SAVIOUR” Or  “THE SALVATION OF JEHOVAH ”

Isaiah 7:14 records: “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign ;Behold a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel “. This is great indeed. God with us . Isaiah chapter nine verse six says: For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given : and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful ,Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace .” The seventh verse indicates thus:” of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His Kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgement and with justice  from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

The Angel Gabriel went on to expound clearly the vision and mission of Jesus Christ. That ” He shall be great…..the son of the Highest” that is to say the Most high God. Hereafter, Mary now begins a one on one conversation with the angel and finally she says, ” Behold the handmaid of the Lord be it unto me according to your word” This is faith that reveals her consent to the message brought by Angel Gabriel. She is ready to accomplish the will of God for her life; thereby accessing her greater destiny ahead. Dear reader, may you too access and accomplish God’s will for your life and leap into your High destiny together with your generation ; five hundred years and beyond. A generation of the highly favoured and greatly blessed.

A PROPHETIC PRAYER

1st Samuel 2:1-10

2 Then Hannah prayed and said:

“My heart rejoices in the Lord;

    in the Lord my horn[a] is lifted high.

My mouth boasts over my enemies,

    for I delight in your deliverance.

2 “There is no one holy like the Lord;

    there is no one besides you;

    there is no Rock like our God.

3 “Do not keep talking so proudly

    or let your mouth speak such arrogance,

for the Lord is a God who knows,

    and by him deeds are weighed.

4 “The bows of the warriors are broken,

    but those who stumbled are armed with strength.

5 Those who were full hire themselves out for food,

    but those who were hungry are hungry no more.

She who was barren has borne seven children,

but she who has had many sons pines away.

6 “The Lord brings death and makes alive;

    he brings down to the grave and raises up.

7 The Lord sends poverty and wealth;

    he humbles and he exalts.

8 He raises the poor from the dust

    and lifts the needy from the ash heap;

he seats them with princes

    and has them inherit a throne of honor.

“For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s;

    on them he has set the world.

9 He will guard the feet of his faithful servants,

but the wicked will be silenced in the place of darkness.

“It is not by strength that one prevails;

10     those who oppose the Lord will be broken.

The Most High will thunder from heaven;

    the Lord will judge the ends of the earth

   Herein is a song , a prayer and a prophetic utterance as well. This is Hannah; Elkana’s wife after she had just dedicated Samuel at the age of five years. Samuel was to spent his life in the House of God at Shilloh, serving God because Hannah had made a vow to God concerning him; before he was born. With much zeal for God , madam Hannah prayed in the spirit of prophecy indicating that salvation is Christ. She views God’s holiness as the main reason for her holy exhuberant joyfulness. She goes on to imply that God has absolute existence; no doubt. ” Neither is there any rock like our God ” means God is all powerful, with great strength, immovable, enduring, providing safety to his people. ” A God of knowledge, by Him actions are weight” means God understands everything; past, present and future. He cannot be cheated or short- changed by human actions. Indeed, human events result from God’s direction; that is His will .

Politely, I urge you to pray for God’s Will to take place in your life . Madam Hannah’s prophetic utterance goes on to show that God is a game changer; to make his will manifest.

God is able to bring one down and brimg one up again. In all human activities , promotion comes from the Lord  [psalm 75:6,7] Through salvation. We are raised out of dust unto greatness in jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is  given latitude to work in our lives to bring about our much needed change and strength to grow. God is supreme king ; no one can oppose Him and succeed . The prophetic utterance goes on to show that even the remotest parts of the earth are known by God. He is there. “He shall give strength unto His King and exalt the horn of his anointed” both speaks about King David and Jesus Christ, the messiah . The song of Hannah ends here; but in essence it continues in the hearts and lives of untold millions of people who access Divine Truth , put it into practice and are daily transformed into precious vessels for holy service unto God Almighty ; through Our Lord and savior; Jesus Christ.
