WHY JESUS CHRIST WAS MANIFESTED
1st JOHN 3: 1-12
GALATIANS 5:19-26
SONS OF GOD
1st JOHN 3: 1-12
3 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears,[a] we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3 All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.4 everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. 5 But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. 6 No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.
7 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 8 The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. 9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. 10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.More on Love and Hatred
11 For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. 12 Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother’s were righteous.
Hi, Dear child of The Mighty God in The highest Heaven. Welcome to the Stable Sanctuary once again. Psalms 139: 14 states so clearly that, “ I will Praise You; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: Marvellous are Your works; and that My soul knows right well.” Here, the Psalmist is praising God and acknowledging the great beauty of God’s work in one’s life . NOTE well that the reference here is particularly to the Messiah, Our Lord JESUS CHRIST. The miraculous nature of His birth as well as His full Testimony are the very subject of His praise.
You and I are Children of God by virtue of being born again. Now we are sons of God Most High through His Dear Son Jesus Christ. God has poured His Great love to us. Jesus Christ died to save us from our sins and all other transgressions. We have been set free by the power of His Precious blood. Our salvation is accomplished. Well done. By trusting in God, we become like Jesus Christ. There is need for us to avoid sin. Therefore we are to Subscribe to God’s prescribed order through access to knowledge of the Holy scriptures as stated in His word ; The Holy Bible. Hosea chapter four; verse six partly states ;“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge….” In the judicial system, it is said that “ignorance of the law excuses no man.” Hence a lack of knowledge of God’s word can be detrimental
STRIVE TO EXCEL AND EXCEED EXPECTATION:
GALATIANS 5:19-26
19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
Hey, Sin is the transgression of the law; that is rebelling against God’s order. Rebellion opens the door for works of the flesh to be made manifest; as outlined in the scripture above; Galatians 5:19-21. Remember these are the works of the devil. Jesus Christ was manifested to destroy the works of the devil and He did so during His ministry and finally completed the mission on the cross at Calvary. Collosians 2: 13-15 explains clearly that the cross made it possible for all manner of sins to be forgiven and taken away as well as defeating all our enemies in the spirit world. We can now enjoy our freedom in Christ Jesus; because in Him is no sin. He died for us as a perfect sacrifice. Hence , Jesus Christ saves us from sin; not in sin. When we fix our eyes on the cross, sin does not rule over our lives. Some people teach that sin does not matter because we are under grace. Truly, Jesus Christ is God’s Grace for us all. Yet we cannot be in Jesus Christ [Grace] and continue to sin. The word of God clearly states that the wages of sin is death. Eh! Grace and sin are puzzling parallels . One cannot be in both Grace and sin at the same time. Get saved; access life in Christ Jesus. There are two things; LIFE and DEATH. Choose Life. Choose Jesus Christ.
One born of God does not live a life of commiting sin habitually. Infact one who commits sin is of the devil; he sinned from the beginning. If we live in the Spirit, we can also Walk in the Spirit; Exhibiting the fruit of the spirit; Galatians 5:22,23 . The spiritual life is an excellent one. It regards salvation through faith in the finished work of the cross. A life of power and victory is realised and accessible by sanctification and justification through faith in Jesus Christ. Hence we can do exceedingly, abundantly well because of our trust in God alone. He provides sufficient Grace. Always.
