THE POWER IN THE TRANSFIGURATION OF JESUS CHRIST

A SHINING STAR

MATTHEW 17:1-9

17 After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2 There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. 3 Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.

4 Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.”

5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”

6 When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified. 7 But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don’t be afraid.” 8 When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.

9 As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them, “Don’t tell anyone what you have seen, until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”

Hi, Dear child of The Mighty God in The High Heavens . Welcome to this esteemed site; The Stable Sanctuary. We value. You are a great deal because Jesus Christ; The son of the Living God is with you all the way. The Holy Bible states that Christ in You, The Hope of Glory. In the above outlined scripture from The Holy Bible, Matthew states how Jesus Christ took Peter, James and John and brought them to scale up a high mountain. This is marvellous; Jesus Christ being The Great tour Guide on a high mountain. Indeed very wonderful. It indicates clearly, how Jesus Christ has professional skills and knowledge on how to scale up mountain- like circumstances which may appear terrific to us. You and I can dearly trust Him.

HIS FACE DID SHINE AS THE SUN

In the second verse, Matthew, the writer of this episode notes that the face of Jesus Christ did shine as the sun. What a great wonder? How can one look at a shining sun? The scenerio was so Glorious. The sun is a star; by the way. Hence Jesus Christ wants you and I to become shining stars wherever we  are. As we interact with people everywhere, Jesus Christ has to shine from within us so that all and sundry may behold the Glory of God in Christ Jesus through our life and actions. Let it be so . Yeah; even the clothes Jesus had put on were white as light; meaning that there is power released to is to enable the world around us to see the light of God everyday.

MOSES AND ELIJAH

The appearance of these two Great men of God became an essential evidence of how Great God is. His works are full of wonders. Here is the power of God showing that The Law and The prophets are well represented in this Transfiguration episode. The dead and the raptured saints too are represented as the two spoke with Jesus Christ concerning His atoning death that would take place in Jerusalem [ Luke 9:31] which is the Great Theme of Heaven [Revelation 1:5] . Indeed, here in is where the tremendous power of the blood of Jesus Christ is clearly revealed. It all begun with the Transfiguration upon a high mountain. Such is the power now granted to us; to live and walk in Christ Jesus; performing The will of God; Our Father in Heaven.

THE SHECHINAH TOKEN:

In verse four, Peter reacted in a way he did not understand what was happening. Immediately verse five a bright cloud overshadowed them. The SHECHINAH Glory; which was a manifestation of the Holy presence of God appeared over the Tabernacle in the wilderness and a voice out of the cloud said,”This is My beloved son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear ye Him.” This is a clear indicator of The Presence of The HOLY TRINITY upon the High mountain.God, The Father,God the son and God; The Holy spirit are here present. The voice out of the cloud was The Father, Jesus Christ; Standing in radiant light as The son and The Holy Spirit, present in the overshadowing cloud. Hence tremendous power of Heaven is ALL  here to let the will of God be accomplished. This is the power and authority that Jesus Christ has given to us who believe in Him; that we may work The works of God in Heaven.

It is our sincere desire , dear child of God, that as you read this, the shekinah Glory; which is the evidence of the presence of God as exhibited during the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ  shall be with you; to enable you to become a great servant of God; through our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. The Holy spirit shall grant you access in this Divine matter; which Him only understands what to be done ; and how it can be done. He shall also avail to you time, chance and manner by which the will of God can be done in your life. Remember, as of now , Jesus Christ is in You.

• Prepare and be ready to scale a high mountain
• Receive a touch of Jesus Christ. Arise,Shine ; for your light is come and the glory of God is risen            upon you.[Isaiah 60:1]
