THE MINISTRY OF HOSPITALITY;
A tremendous question- Luke 10:25-29
Luke 10:25–29 (ESV):
25 And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” 26 He said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?” 27 And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” 28 And he said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.”
29 But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbour?”
Hi, dear wonderful child of the Mighty God of the Universe. Welcome to the Stable Sanctuary. This is a site meant to steer your life into great destiny that God intended you to attain in this life and in the life to come. We value and esteem you highly knowing that you are the best creation of God on this planet.
The desire and prayer of our heart for now is that God, by the power and knowledge of the Holy Spirit, shall download to us His great insight into the ministry of hospitality. We find this in the holy bible text displayed above. It took Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour to meet a highly learned friend; a lawyer; to illustrate the story of the ministry of hospitality. What a great coincidence in the spirit. Lawyer Jesus Christ talking to another Lawyer. This shows that it is a weighty matter of the Law of God to carry out the ministry of hospitality. God in heaven takes it as being very essential, needful, dutiful and a heavy responsiblility for any man to another.
In fact,Jesus Christ is willing to reach all people and assist them physically, socially, materially, psychologically and morally; so that many may attain the knowledge of His great salvation and attain success in this life and thereafter; from generation to generation.
In verses 25-28, the learned lawyer now discovers that Jesus Christ has absolute and infinite knowledge. Jesus pauses another tremendous question;” How do you read?” Here, a problem is exposed; The sin of omission: Knowing what one is required to do but then not doing it. Now Jesus shows him the way to do right( verse 28).

Luke 10:29-35
In verse 29, the character of the learned lawyer is made evident: avoidance of responsibility. From here, Jesus Christ expounds to him a story of a man who found himself attacked by thieves and robbers and the other human characters who came across him; a priest and a levite never took care. A good Samaritan came and felt a lot of compassion and assisted, to the point of being ready to pay financial bills for the recovery of the man (verses 33-35). The wounded man was perhaps poor and could not repay the good Samaritan for his good deeds. Allow me to let you know that Jesus Christ sees you at the level of the good Samaritan. Kindly come out and shine.
Taking care of the needy– Luke 10:36-37
Hey! Come and be a good neighbor. The bible makes us understand the call that Christ gave to us all.
To visit the sick in hospitals and prisoners in prisons, to clothe the needy and feed the hungry, to assist the financially and materially poor, because whenever we do it, we do it unto Christ. When we do not take good care, the avoidance is done unto Christ. Oh! Come be a testimony of Christ our Lord.
