BEHOLD YOUR GOD

ISAIAH 40:9-15

Isaiah 40:9–15 (ESV): 9 Go on up to a high mountain,
O Zion, herald of good news;
lift up your voice with strength,
O Jerusalem, herald of good news;
lift it up, fear not;
say to the cities of Judah,
“Behold your God!”
10 Behold, the Lord GOD comes with might,
and his arm rules for him;
behold, his reward is with him,
and his recompense before him.

11 He will tend his flock like a shepherd;
he will gather the lambs in his arms;
he will carry them in his bosom,
and gently lead those that are with young.

12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand
and marked off the heavens with a span,
enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure
and weighed the mountains in scales
and the hills in a balance?
13 Who has measured the Spirit of the LORD,
or what man shows him his counsel?

14 Whom did he consult,
and who made him understand?
Who taught him the path of justice,
and taught him knowledge,
and showed him the way of understanding?
15 Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket,
and are accounted as the dust on the scales;
behold, he takes up the coastlands like fine dust.

Hi, Dear Child of The Mighty God in The Highest Heaven. Welcome to The Stable Sanctuary; a House of solace and Rest in Christ Jesus. The outlined Holy Bible Scripture above is based on peace and truth which is found in the word of God; given to prophet Isaiah around the Year 712 BC. Check Isaiah 40:1-5. Indeed God can never forget His people.

You and I are always put in God’s rememberance no matter what happens. Your comfort, my comfort is all God’s priority. Eh! The battle against sin and its effects has already been won by Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary. Jesus Christ is a winner man all the time. Now check verse 9 and 10. Behold our God . He is with us. You and I are His work. He is Adonai -Jehovah: King of all the Earth. He is our reward.

  A GENTLE SHERPHERD

Verse 11 indicates the Gentleness of Jesus Christ; His meekness and His kindness; all in one. Here is the great perfection of His loving kindness and His mercy that endures forever to them that love Him. We all find and access the beauty of Holiness in Him. There is no distance in the realm of the spirit. Hence, Jesus Christ gently feeds us and gathers us with His arm, carrying us in His bosom and Leads us day by day. In real sense, we are all young to Him and so He cares for us most affectionately. Where else can one find such a loving  and caring Saviour? He is the only one. Always ready to offer any needed help to His flock.He never slumbers nor sleeps.He leads His sheep to greener pastures and feeds them adequately.

  THE GREATNESS OF GOD

Verses 12 and 13 imply God’s mighty power. His Majesty is hereby depicted clearly. Imagine that He can accurately measure the weights of mountains; meaning that He comprehends every minute detail of all components of the entire universe. To God, nothing can cause a conflict of interest or understanding. He posses All things as He knows everything. Yes. God is wonderful. He is glorious. He teaches and does not need to be taught. The Lord our God is a marvellous teacher and instructor in all aspects of life. Our God is Glorious .Check Isaiah 26:1-4.

 THE WAY OF UNDERSTANDING:

       The Lord our God reveals Himself to His people. The knowledge of God’s word provides direct and clear revelation of who God is and what He does. Biblical and scientific concepts are highly  inter- related; meaning that God is the author of all knowledge and understanding.

When we embrace Jesus Christ, we embrace understanding. Jesus Christ is The Way, The Truth and The Life. Check John 15:14,15; Here is where we stand in Christ. He has become our New Status. Christ Jesus is our Teacher, our Counsellor and our Pomforter; through The Power of The Holy Spirit. We have access to Divine Knowledge and comprehension of the things of God.

 CONCLUSION

Behold your God. He is Adonai – Jehovah; King of all the Earth. Man rules, God over-rules in all human affairs. The Lord our God is a gentle shepherd. He is most loving and most caring. He is God our Great Saviour. He has awesome power and Majesty. This God reveals Himself to His people.

Death and resurrection of Jesus Christ has enabled us to be at peace with God. Hence we are friends of the God of The universe. Access to Jesus Christ gives us access to God’s Will for our life now and always……Stay blessed in Christ Jesus our Saviour.He will keep us in perfect peace because of our trust in Him ; The LORD JEHOVAH .
