GENESIS 41:37-43

Genesis 41:37–43 (NKJV): 37 So the advice was good in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of all his servants. 38 And Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?”
39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Inasmuch as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you.

40 You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word; only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you.” 41 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.”
42 Then Pharaoh took his signet ring off his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand; and he clothed him in garments of fine linen and put a gold chain around his neck. 43 And he had him ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried out before him, “Bow the knee!” So he set him over all the land of Egypt.

   Hi, Dear Child of The Mighty God in The Highest Heaven. Welcome to The Stable Sanctuary. The Holy Bible Scripture outlined above is an episode that took place in the year 1715 B.C. in the Land of Egypt. This was in the highest office; at pharaoh’s parlace . The main character in this story being Joseph; a son to Jacob, son of Isaac, son of Abraham : A friend of God.

Here, Joseph had found himself in Egypt as a slave sold to the Ishmaelites. Joseph’s brothers had no peace with him just because of his dreams; which they could not comprehend. They developed jealousy. You and I may have great dreams. Our friends may not understand us; they may even want to curtail our vision; yet when God is in control, all shall be well. Verses 37 and 38 indicate that Joseph was a young man who was walking in Divine approval. In all your ways, seek God as you Walk in Divine approval and your destiny shall be marvellous.

THE SPIRIT OF GOD

The Holy Spirit of The Living God is a very  Intelligent Person. He knows all things: past, present and future. Though He is invisible, He is everywhere present. Walk wisely and God shall locate you. I believe that Joseph’s initial days in Egypt may have been quite unbearable: a strange land, strange people; him being a slave. Hey, you and I may experience strange circumstances; quite deplorable situations; but if we are walking in Divine Approval, then better are we.

STEWARDSHIP

Verse 39-41 depicts how God can work out events to one’s great advantage. Joseph has passed through slavery, imprisonment and now by Divine Approval, he is being sworn in as Prime Minister in the land of King Pharaoh. What a big contrast? Indeed , the steps of a man are ordered by the Lord. I urge you to fix your eyes on Jesus Christ. He knows the way ahead. Joseph is becoming a caretaker of a nation that is a superpower. Wonderful. God knows what He has prepared for you.

FAVOUR

   It is a wonder to walk in Divine Approval. Check verses 42 and 43. Pharaoh grants Joseph real authority; to be second in command in the entire Kingdom. Here, Joseph has received favour from The God of The Universe; because in the affairs of man, God reigns. “ For the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that Walk uprightly’’[ Psalms 84:11] . May God grant you favour from His throne of Grace.

CONCLUSION

Seek wisdom from above to walk in Divine Approval. It shall be well with you. Let the spirit of The Living God locate you and direct your paths. In His Divine Approval, better are you. Always desire to be a Good Steward, opportunity is waiting for you. As you walk in Divine Approval,let the presence of Jesus Christ grant you favour to do God’s will; [ Luke 2:52] .
