MORAL  INTEGRITY

MATTHEW 5:13-16

Matthew 5:13–16 (NIV): 13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Hi , welcome to The Stable Sanctuary.

In Matthew 5:13-16, Jesus teaches about the importance of creating a positive influence in the world. He begins by saying, “You are the salt of the earth.” This means that just as salt enhances the flavor of food, we are called to enhance the world around us with our goodness and kindness. However, if salt loses its flavor, it becomes useless. In the same way, if we lose our moral integrity and purpose, we cannot fulfill our role in society.

INSPIRE PEOPLE

Next, Jesus says, “You are the light of the world.” A city on a hill cannot be hidden; it shines brightly for all to see. Similarly, our lives should reflect the light of Christ, guiding others and bringing hope. We should not hide our light under a basket but let it shine for everyone to see. When we live out our faith openly, we inspire others to seek the truth and goodness that comes from God.

LIVE  RIGHTEOUSLY

Finally, Jesus emphasizes that our good deeds should be visible to others. When people see our acts of kindness and love, they will glorify our Father in heaven. This is a reminder that our actions speak louder than words. By living righteously and serving others, we can draw attention to God’s love and grace.

ARISE , SHINE

Isaiah 60:1 “Arise , shine ; for your light is come…….” Shows that beams of light spring from JESUS CHRIST [Psalm 67:1 and 2]. Adherence to The Word of Christ brings peace and prosperity.

CONCLUSION

We are called to be both salt and light in the world. Creating positive influence can bring flavor to life and illuminate the path for others. Let us strive to live in a way that reflects Christ’s love. Our high desire should be to encourage others to seek Him and bring glory to God through our actions.Stay blessed in Christ Jesus.
