THE DIVINE HAND

PSALMS 75:6-7

Hello, welcome to The Stable Sanctuary. In Psalm 75:6-7, we read, “For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he puts down one, and sets up another.” This powerful passage reminds us that God is sovereign over all creation. In a world that often seems chaotic, we must remember that our promotions and successes do not come from human effort alone. Instead, they are orchestrated by the divine hand of God. He is the ultimate judge, determining the course of our lives with wisdom and purpose.

THE ILLUSION OF POWER

In our society, it is easy to be swayed by the allure of power and status. We may find ourselves striving for recognition and advancement through worldly means. However, Psalm 75 challenges us to reconsider where we place our trust. True power lies not in our own achievements or connections but in the hands of God. He raises up the humble and brings down the proud. Let us shift our focus from the illusions of power and earthly ambitions to heavenly purposes. May we recognize that our worth is rooted in our identity as beloved children of God.

KING DAVID’S EXPERIENCE

History is lined with very classic illustrations, best of them being King David of Israel. In all His splendor, King David relied solely upon God, who caused Him to be very successful [1st Chronicles 29:11-12]. Constantly, we need to keep the mind of Christ in our imagination and our hearts. True success shall run after us and even overtake us along the way.

THE PROCESS OF PROMOTION

As we navigate our journeys, we must also embrace God’s timing. The process of promotion and elevation may not align with our expectations, but we can trust that God’s timing is perfect. In moments of waiting, we are called to remain faithful and patient. Let us know that God is working behind the scenes. We can encourage one another to trust in His plan, reminding ourselves that every season has its purpose.

CONCLUSION

Psalm 75:6-7 invites us to acknowledge the sovereignty of God in our lives. As we recognize that promotion comes from Him, we can let go of the pressures of worldly success. Together, let us embrace our identity in Christ, trusting in His perfect timing and divine justice. May we encourage one another to seek God’s will above all else. Let us know that He is the ultimate judge who elevates and restores. Stay Focused On The Sovereinty Of God In Christ Jesus.
