A High Desire
Revelation 5:2-8
The Lamb Takes the Scroll
5 And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. 2 Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?” 3 And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it.
4 So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open [a]and read the scroll, or to look at it. 5 But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and [b]to loose its seven seals.”
6 And I looked, [c]and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. 7 Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
Worthy Is the Lamb
8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
Hi, dear child of the Mighty God in the highest heaven. Welcome to the Stable Sanctuary.
The above outlined scripture from the holy bible provides a glimpse of a growing testimony based on God’s awesome wonders such as wonders that are beyond human comprehension.
In verse 2, a loud angel is proclaiming with a loud voice. This implies the greatness of the testimony of Jesus Christ; that it takes a strong angel to make a loud proclamation. You and I are meant to access a high desire for moral fitness that can make us acceptable to serve our Great Living God.( Romans 1:3 … regarding his Son, who as to his earthly life was a descendant of David…
Romans 4:5 However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness).
The Lion & The Lamb
Verse 5 presents Jesus Christ as the Lion of The Tribe of Judah having prevailed all circumstances in heaven, on earth and under the earth. He, therefore, is the King. In verse 6, Jesus Christ is presented as The Lamb of God slain to redeem all things. Here, the testimony of Jesus continues to soar higher and higher for the glory of God. This calls upon us to worship Him in spirit and in truth because He is the pinnacle of our great Salvation. In Christ Jesus is found all the greatness and goodness of God. He has dominion over all powers; physical and spiritual. We believe, and so we speak.
Electric Illumination
The seven eyes stated in verse 6 denote total, perfect and complete illumination of all spiritual things meaning that our own Lord Jesus Christ provides great light that is above electric illumination. No amount of electricity can be equal to the light Jesus Christ provides. His work Is supernatural. We need to keenly follow the word of God because it makes all things possible to us who believe. The word is light; it is a lamb in our life. It is perfectly universal(John 8.12).
An Awesome Scene
