A MAN OF DESTINY

REVELATION 5:1-14

GENESIS 50: 15-21

THE LION AND THE LAMB

REVELATION 5:1-14

5 And I saw in the Right Hand of Him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

7 And He came and took the book out of the Right Hand of Him that sat upon the throne.

8 And when He had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped Him that liveth for ever and ever.

Hi, Dear precious child of The Mighty God of the universe. Welcome once again to The Stable Sanctuary, an esteemed site for your spiritual, social, physchological, economic and physical growth and development. We appreciate you. Today , we want to scale up our knowledge of the word of God; basically on A MAN OF DESTINY. The English Dictionary defines DESTINY as  ” a pre-determinal state, the fixed order of things, an invincible necessity, an irresistible power or agency conceived as determining the future whether in general or of an individual ” It therefore follows that one’s destiny is what one shall be basing on what one is today or now. What one does as of now determines what one shall end up with. One’s deeds have a profound bearing on one’s life outcomes. Do good and be successful in future.

The Holy Bible text illustrated above is a clear indication of what Destiny can involve.“And I saw in the Right Hand of Him who sat on the Throne….” is a significance of great power. The second verse implies a need of moral fitness where one has to qualify to carry out the Will of God. So, we find the only one who is worthy in this case is JESUS CHRIST. He is The LION and THE LAMB; Meaning He is very strong and also very polite and meek. He lowered Himself to die on the cross in order to save us. The slain lamb has redeemed the entire Human race. He has great dominion and illumination. This is His saving Power and grace that bring light to the world. He alone has made us unto God, Kings and priests. We rule with Him. The sevenfold blessing is given to Jesus Christ. Hence , Blessing and honour and glory and power be unto Him who sits upon the throne [God, the Father] and unto the Lamb [JESUS CHRIST] forever and ever. This means that the work Jesus Christ accomplished at the cross has an Eternal bearing on the Human race. JESUS CHRIST IS THE MAN OF DESTINY.

MERCY AND GRACE

GENESIS 50: 15-21

15 When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “What if Joseph holds a grudge against us and pays us back for all the wrongs we did to him?” 16 So they sent word to Joseph, saying, “Your father left these instructions before he died: 17 ‘This is what you are to say to Joseph: I ask you to forgive your brothers the sins and the wrongs they committed in treating you so badly.’ Now please forgive the sins of the servants of the God of your father.” When their message came to him, Joseph wept.

18 His brothers then came and threw themselves down before him. “We are your slaves,” they said.

19 But Joseph said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? 20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. 21 So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children.” And he reassured them and spoke kindly to them.

After the death of Jacob, Joseph’s brother expected evil from him. But Joseph, a type of Christ, dealt gently with them, showing them mercy and grace all through. Joseph wept when they spoke to him by quoting the words of their father, Jacob. Verse 18 records the last of the five times the brothers bowed before Joseph; hence making his dreams fulfilled[ Genesis 37:5-11 ] . In his response, Joseph indicates that he cannot judge them; hence he cannot punish them.

Today, Jesus Christ is not judging us or condemning us. He is our advocate or lawyer. He pleads mercy for us at the throne of God. Yet, one day, He, Jesus Christ, shall be our judge. Eh. The twentieth verse is a clear indicator that God can turn evil into absolute goodness. Infact, Joseph comforted and kindly and politely spoke to his brothers. He exhibits a perfect type of Jesus Christ. Yes, in this episode, we can perfectly see a Great Man of Destiny: JESUS CHRIST; The Son of THE LIVING GOD.

The story of Joseph and his brothers teaches us that whatever one may do, one does it on behalf of oneself and one’s destiny. There can be no more or less to oneself. It is all yours; for your generation, for posterity. Forever.[Kiswahili: Milele]. May you be keen to do and perform acts that shall usher you into your great blessings in this world; so that your generation shall be partakers of the same blessings. In the current times, Today, Joseph’s descendants are the best well endowed with much blessings. Infact, they control most of the events and activities around the world. Kindly find out who they are. I Know them well.
