IN SEARCH OF AN ANSWER

JOHN 3:1-7

John 3:1–7 (ESV): 3 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.” 3 Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” 5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

Hi, Dear Child of The Mighty God in The High Heaven. Welcome to The Stable Sanctuary. The Holy Bible text above illustrated is an episode between Jesus Christ and Nicodemus; who was a pharisee. He was a ruler of the Jews. This man is said to have been one of the richest men in Jerusalem. Indeed, all men everywhere need Jesus Christ; regardless of their social status. Nicodemus came to Jesus by night; reason only known to him. Jesus Christ is ready to welcome anyone at any time. Check verse two. There was something Nicodemus wanted to know. Yeah, Jesus Christ is The answer to all life’s questions.

 A HIGH DESIRE

The desire for every person is to access truth concerning life. Nicodemus had a high desire to know more about Jesus Christ and how to find the will of God. Jesus Christ expounded to him what was needful. When we come to Jesus with a sincere desire, He will make us  to access what we need to do so as to have our way straight to the will of God.

WATER AND THE SPIRIT

Water is Life. The Holy spirit is life. A combination of water and the spirit quickens our Life to access the blessing of eternal life; which begins straight when one is born again. As you follow the dialogue between Jesus Christ and Nicodemus, you realise that Jesus Christ is categorical that we all have to be born of water and of the spirit. Being born of water is natural; while being born of the spirit is spiritual. You and I are natural as well as spiritual beings. A spiritual birth is very necessary.

  THE WILL OF GOD

Jesus Christ died on the cross for you and I. He did so to enable us access a spiritual birth. Romans 10:9,10 provides a clear and distinct way by which one can be born again; thus being born of the spirit. Salvation is reachable by all. It is God’s desire that people all over the world come to the knowledge of salvation through Jesus Christ; The saviour.
