UNDERSTAND YOURSELF

JOHN 4:28-30

John 4:28–30 (ESV): 28 So the woman left her water jar and went away into town and said to the people, 29 “Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?” 30 They went out of the town and were coming to him.

Hi, Dear child of The Mighty God in the Highest Heaven. We preciously salute you. Welcome to The Stable Sanctuary as you access the cool breeze of the breath of The Holy spirit of the Living God. Based on the above stated scripture from the Holy Bible, we find the Samaritan woman who met Jesus Christ at Jacob’s well in Sychar, a city of Samaria. The woman had come  to draw water for domestic use; only to meet a man she had never known or heard about:

The Messiah Jesus Christ. After a lengthy dialogue, she believed all that Jesus Christ said to her. This lady understood herself and all that she needed in life . There comes a time when one has to come to one’s good sense of humour; do a real soul searching step out in style and access Truth that may lead to life changing decision for the better. After  personal encounter with Jesus Christ, the scripture states that she left her waterpot and went into the city . Check verse 28. Hence a woman became the first evangelist / preacher of the Gospel of Christ to the Gentile nations. The preaching was so effective that it aroused a great revival

 WALKING A TIGHTROPE

   Madam Samaritan lady decided to walk a tightrope of Faith. She understood the risk involved, but by faith she took a bold step not being worried of whatever reactions the people of the city would have. You too can decide to walk a tight rope , access the word of God and move out with it by faith to let it reach a new frontier for God’s glory.

The word  shall always defend itself. It is very powerful: full of blessings.  She said to the men, ‘ Come ,see a man which told me all things that I even did: Is not this the Christ?” Here, we find that she went directly to the leaders of the city; particularly leaders of the samaritan religion. What a bold step she took? Likewise you and I can do the same thing and have our people come to the knowledge of God and receive their much needed deliverance through Jesus Christ.

 YES YOU CAN

The fact that Jesus Christ chose to reveal Himself to The samaritan nation through a womanof such calibre shows that God has no respect for persons and that anyone who accepts His Word is counted worthy of His service. Christianity is not a religion or a philosophy of any sort. It is all about a man ; The man Christ Jesus. Madam Samaritan lady knew too well that her people were earnestly looking for a Messiah. No wonder God attended to their spiritual yearning through this lady . It shows that women are of very high regard in the Kingdom of God’s work. Christ is King of kings , Lord of lords . He can make you and I to succeed tremendously. I repeat; Yes you can.

UNLOCK YOUR POTENTIAL

Now check verse 30. It says, ” Then they went out of the city and came unto Him” Yes, the people of the city , young and old, all came to meet and see Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit knew that hundreds of the people in The City of Samaria were spiritually hungry and were longing to access spiritual truth. A lack of spiritual food can lead to spiritual malnourishment which can be dangerous to the soul. Good spiritual food can only be made available through dedicated servants who have a heart for God. The Bible states that David was a man after God’s heart. God used him greatly to Shepherd and assist Israel, His people. You and I have the potential to do better for the Glory of God. Welcome to your discovery.

   CONCLUSION

Now is the time for one to discover one’s lucrative potential just as Madam Samaritan lady did. She understood herself so clearly hence when she met Jesus Christ, She opted for her opportunity, walked a tight rope and emerged a celebrity as a result of the great revival that she initiated. Yes you can also emerge as a celebrity in the things of God.
