A GIFT FROM GOD

DEUTERONOMY 28:8-12

Deuteronomy 28:8–12 (NKJV): 8 “The LORD will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God is giving you.
9 “The LORD will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways.

10 Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they shall be afraid of you. 11 And the LORD will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the LORD swore to your fathers to give you. 12 The LORD will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.

Hi, Dear Child of The Mighty God In the Highest Heaven. Welcome to The Stable Sanctuary. The above outlined Holy Bible Scripture is an episode set in the year 1451 BC.God commanded Moses and the elders of Israel to teach the people to keep all the commandments as a pre-requisite condition for possession of the promised land.

The promised land as well as the blessing in the land of promise was a gift from God to the people. Likewise, there is a promised land as well as the blessing in the land of promise for you and I. It therefore calls upon us to be obedient to God’s word in order for us to access and enjoy the promise. A gift from God is ahead of us. Check verse 8.

SILVER LININGS

It is well said that behind every dark cloud, there is a silver lining. Very true. Jesus Christ is the silver lining behind the dark situations and circumstances which oftentimes discourage our journey through life. When God commands a blessing, nothing can stop it from being fulfilled. You and I shall be surely established because God has sworn to do so. We are strong in Christ Jesus. Wonderfully blessed. [ Verses 9 and 10  ]. The fame of our blessing shall reach far and near because we are God’s chosen generation.

POSITIVE OUTLOOK

Hey, God shall make everything concerning us beautiful; as in verse 11. We stand to be plentiful in goods, the fruit of our body; a blessed generation for many years to come, plentiful provision in the Land which the Lord our God shall make accessible to us. Prosperity and good health shall follow all our days and even beyond.

All this shall be made real because God never wastes time to create His people. He is wow; hence He has great dreams for us. The blood of Jesus Christ; shed upon the cross at Calvary makes us acceptable to Him. He saves His people so as to bless them abundantly.

ORDINARY MOMENTS

Positive desires reflect God’s agape love hence they turn ordinary moments into extra- ordinary blessings. This is made evident in verse 12. Yes. The Lord shall open to us His good treasure; the Heaven to give rain to our land in  His season and to bless all the work of our hand. Indeed, the treasure house of heaven is made open to us in Christ Jesus; our Lord. Joseph’s ordinary moments in prison in Egypt gave rise to his extraordinary blessings when King Pharaoh appointed him prime minister.[ Genesis 41:39-44]

CONCLUSION

The promised land as well as the blessing in the land of promise is a gift of God to us. There is a silver lining behind every dark situation and circumstances. The goodness of God shall be made bountiful to us.

Our God has great dreams for us. Positive desires reflect God’s love; which turn ordinary moments into extraordinary blessings. Jesus Christ opens the treasures of Heaven to us; He is a Great Saviour. Very Special and Supernumer
