LUKE 12:16-21
Luke 12:16–21 (NKJV):
16 Then He spoke a parable to them, saying: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully. 17 And he thought within himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?’ 18 So he said, ‘I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.” ’ 20 But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’
21 “So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”

FRUITS FOR SPIRITUAL HEALTH
A person’s life is like the life of a tree. Trees bear much fruits. A person also bear fruit basing on one’s character and behavior . Good moral lifestyle also bears good spiritual fruits. The Holy Bible in the book of Galatians chapter five verses twenty two and twenty three outlines The Fruit of The Spirit . That is how God intended our life to be: full of peace ,love, joy, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance . Such is what constitutes Spiritual Health.
A PLENTIFUL PROVISION
From The Holy bible text, Luke 12:16-21, the Holy Bible states a parable spoken by Jesus Christ about farm activities of a certain rich man. He had a plentiful harvest of fruits. This was a result of God’s blessing in the rich man’s life . The man had no place to store what he had harvested. He had to pull down his old stores and construct larger ones. He knew that he would use the fruits for very many years.
WHAT YOU NEED DO
In verse 19, we find the tragedy in the episode: complancency; which is a feeling of contented self-satisfaction ; unaware of upcoming trouble. In verse twenty, God speaks to him to let him know that his time has elapsed. Now guess what next. God blesses all people. We need to know that what God gives us is to be used for His glory and honour. KINDLY allow Jesus Christ to have access to your fruits by sharing what God has blessed you with other people: orphans, widows, the vulnerable poor, the sick, the elderly as well as those in economic turmoil and you shall have peace with God.
