Seeking the kingdom of God
–Matthew 6:25-34

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Hi, precious child of the God of the universe.welcome to the stable sanctuary.You are a unique and valuable creation of God.From the Holy Bible scripture illlustrated above ,we
find Jesus Christ teaching against worry and anxiety.He means to say that life is more than things and the physical body is much more than clothes we put on.The birds of the air
are smaller parts of God’s creation ;hence if God cares for the birds ,then he ultimately has already taken care of us as human beings.We are his children .Whatever may happen
around us cannot be stopped by worry and if it does not happen then there is nothing to worry about.Infact we are always in the presence of God .Everywhere.

People toil to make themselves presentable, but the beauty of the flowers is given to them free of charge by the creator !for instance ,it is said that the lilies of Isreal had brilliant
colours more so the purple and the white huleh lily found in Nazareth.They were Classic and so are you in His presence.God makes everything beautiful in it’s time .I say that you are elegant.
The Almighty God has good plans for you;hence, seeking to access his presence shall help manifest himself to you. God is faithful.He can fully be trusted to carry out his commitments to us
in Christ Jesus . We are assured of a great part in God’s economy because He knows all that we need in our lifetime. When we live for Him ,ever seeking His will,then His word guarantess His divine providence and safety everywhere.

Jesus Christ is tellling us;’ But seek you first the kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.” This means let us seek God ;to know him better. His interests
are to be first.Everyday life issues are to be handled by faith in Christ Jesus . Let us sufficiently believe in God always.He is ready to provide all that we need.

STRONG POLITE ADVICE
Proverbs 31:1-5

31 The sayings of King Lemuel—an inspired utterance his mother taught him.

2 Listen, my son! Listen, son of my womb!
Listen, my son, the answer to my prayers!
3 Do not spend your strength[a] on women,
your vigor on those who ruin kings.

4 It is not for kings, Lemuel—
it is not for kings to drink wine,
not for rulers to crave beer,
5 lest they drink and forget what has been decreed,
and deprive all the oppressed of their rights.

Here are the words of King Lemuel. Now,’Lemuel’ was another name for Solomon, the King of Israel. Batt-sheba, King Solomon’s mother always kept teaching him because he became a King
at the age of twenty years. Bath-sheba dedicated Solomon to God before his birth. He was a Product of repentance and faith( Psalm 51)

“Give not your strength unto women, nor your ways to that which destroys Kings “(proverbs 31:3) Here , immorality and idolatry are addressed .These are two main issues that
affect Young People in the world today.One needs to be careful with such things because they can heavily derail ones desire for a better destiny .Remember ,God is for you;to succeed
and have a generation of successfull people that will come after you. Remember God’s promise to Abraham ; it is for many generations .You and I are partakers of the promise . Be wise,be alert.LIve well.
The holy spirit is admonishing us to “Leave stong drink alone ” It causes men to “forget the law” Meaning to forget the word of God . The word of God is so Precious ; forgetting it may mean eternal death. Politely , I urge you to read, listen and live a life of seeking the kingdom of God and His Righteousness . Access life and Peace .

THE WAY , THE SACRIFICE AND REST :
2nd Chronicles 15:1-15

15 And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded:

2 And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.

3 Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.

4 But when they in their trouble did turn unto the Lord God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.

5 And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries.

6 And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity.

7 Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.

8 And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the Lord, that was before the porch of the Lord.

9 And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

10 So they gathered themselves together at Jerusalem in the third month, in the fifteenth year of the reign of Asa.

11 And they offered unto the Lord the same time, of the spoil which they had brought, seven hundred oxen and seven thousand sheep.

12 And they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul;

13 That whosoever would not seek the Lord God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.

14 And they sware unto the Lord with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets.

15 And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found of them: and the Lord gave them rest round about.

From the Holy scriptures outlined above, We find that for a long time, Israel had been without the True God .Why?They had forgotten God’s word ,”The Law’.There was no peace in the entire nation .They in their trouble decided to seek God and He was found of them “Finally ,they were able to access God’s word ; which was His presemce .When King Asa heard the words and Prophecy
of Obed the Prophet, he took away all the abominations and rebuilt God’s altar .This was a true move of God. The King gathered all people and they sacrificed to God in an exhuberant manner .
They Sacrificed seven hundred oxen and seven thousand sheep.Then they made a covenant to seek the Lord God of their Fathers .Hey! Check verse 15. It says , “And all Judah rejoiced at the Oath:
for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought Him with their whole desire ; and he Was found of them : and the Lord gave them rest round about” Eh! What a wonderful statement this is ;”
surely , anyone can find God; Provided One seeks for Him with a sincere heart.

Henceforth,Kindly ,
Put away any worry
Believe in the God of the Universe
Seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness
All other things desirable shall be added to you
Perfect Peace ,rest and Prosperity Shall be with you always ;In Jesus Christ, Amen.
