A MAN WITH NO FAULT

Luke 23:5-12

But they insisted, “He stirs up the people all over Judea by his teaching. He started in Galilee and has come all the way here.”On hearing this, Pilate asked if the man was a Galilean. When he learned that Jesus was under Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem at that time. When Herod saw Jesus, he was greatly pleased, because for a long time he had been wanting to see him. From what he had heard about him, he hoped to see him perform a sign of some sort. He plied him with many questions, but Jesus gave him no answer. 10 The chief priests and the teachers of the law were standing there, vehemently accusing him. 11 Then Herod and his soldiers ridiculed and mocked him. Dressing him in an elegant robe, they sent him back to Pilate. 12 That day Herod and Pilate became friends—before this they had been enemies.

A higher destiny awaits you;dearly esteemed reader. Welcome once more to this site; The Stable Sanctuary. You are classic and very important in this life here on earth and the life after; that is the kingdom of God. Here we desire to enable you seek the kingdom of God and its righteousness so as to attain much more according to tje wonderful divine plan of God concerning your life. The scripture outlined above describes a peculiar scenario in the Holy bible.Jesus Christ, son of the Most High God had been arrested and arraigned before Pontius Pilate,a ruler under Ceaser. He was accused of pervating the nation and forbidding giving tribute to Ceaser saying that He himself is Christ a king of the Jews. All these were false accusations. Jesus Christ, understanding what His mission was,did not want to directly accept or deny tbe accusations because He was destined to accomplish the will of the Father in heaven.Verses 4,5 states clearly”Then said pilate to the chief priest and to the people ‘,I find no fault in this man’. And they were the more firece, saying ‘He stirred up the people teaching throughout all Jews beginning from Galilee to this place”. All these were false accusations; without any basis.

Pilate, feeling very desperate had to find out a way of avoiding to handle the matter. Hence when he realized that Jesus Christ is from Galilee,he had to send him to Herod in whose jurisdiction Galilee belonged to.At that time,Herod was at Jerusalem; and when he saw Jesus brought to him, was exceedingly glad, desiring and hoping to see some miracles being performed by Jesus Christ. For a long time,Herod interogated Jesus Christ, but He didn’t answer him anything .The chief priests and other peole all accused Jesus. Finally,Herod and his men mocked Jesus ,arraigned Him in a gorgeous robe and sent Him again to Pilate. Here, the Holy Bible states clearly that the same day Pilate and Herod bece friends; for before they were enemies. What a wonder this is! That 2 great rulers who are enemies; that are against each other can become friends after meeting and seeing Jesus Christ; though each was at a different locality…

This teaches us that Jesus Christ is a great man.He alone is a master of human relations. He brings peace into people’s hearts and minds. He is a champion of peace and harmony.

THE BURNING FIERY FURNACE
Daniel 3:14-30

14 and Nebuchadnezzar said to them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the image of gold I have set up? 15 Now when you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe and all kinds of music, if you are ready to fall down and worship the image I made, very good. But if you do not worship it, you will be thrown immediately into a blazing furnace. Then what god will be able to rescue you from my hand?”

16 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us[a] from Your Majesty’s hand. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”

19 Then Nebuchadnezzar was furious with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and his attitude toward them changed. He ordered the furnace heated seven times hotter than usual 20 and commanded some of the strongest soldiers in his army to tie up Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and throw them into the blazing furnace. 21 So these men, wearing their robes, trousers, turbans and other clothes, were bound and thrown into the blazing furnace. 22 The king’s command was so urgent and the furnace so hot that the flames of the fire killed the soldiers who took up Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, 23 and these three men, firmly tied, fell into the blazing furnace.

24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisers, “Weren’t there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?”

They replied, “Certainly, Your Majesty.”

25 He said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods.”

26 Nebuchadnezzar then approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted, “Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!”

So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire, 27 and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them.

28 Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God. 29 Therefore I decree that the people of any nation or language who say anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego be cut into pieces and their houses be turned into piles of rubble, for no other god can save in this way.”

30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon.

Here is another very wonderful experience narrated in the bible. It is the story of 3 Jewish young men; Shadrach, Meshack and Abednego. Nebuchadnezzar, the king made a towery image of gold in the plain of Dura in the province of Babylon. He ordered the princes, the governors, the captains, the judges, treasures, counselors and the rulers of the provinces to come and dedicate the image. The king made a deceree that all people were to fall down and worship the image of gold at yhe sound of the cornate, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer and all kinds of music.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar had set over the affairs of the province of Babylon refused to comply to the king’s order. When they were accused, the king became very furious. He inquired from them whether it was true and they affirmed to him saying,”Oh Nebuchadnezzar,we are not careful to answer you in this matter. Our God whom we serve is able to save us from the burning fiery furnace and He will deliver us out of your hand. Oh king…but if not be it known to you Oh king that we will not serve your gods nor worship the golden image which you have set up”.

Nebuchadnezzar became more furious, commanded that the furnace be made 7 times more hotter than it was. He also commanded the most mighty army men to bind Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and throw them into the burning fiery furnace. The urgency of the matt8madw the furnace exceedingly hot; the flame slew and burnt those strong army men who took up Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego into the fiery furnace. This didn’t surprise the king.

What surprised and amazed king Nebuchadnezzar was the fact that he looked into the furnace and saw 4 men walking inside the fiery furnace. And that the fourth man was like the son of the gods.He called each of them by name, acknowledged that they are servants of God Most High and asked them to come out of the burning fiery furnace.
Finally,he siad,”Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent His angel and delivered his servants that trusted in Him,and have changed the king’s word and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any God,except theor own God”.
Now,dear reader,sample what king Nebuchadnezzar’s order below :
“Therefore,I make a decree, that every people, nation, and language which speak anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego shall be cut in pieces and their houses shall be made a dung hill: because there is no other god that can deliver after this sort”.The king then promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon.
Oh,what an awesome and glorious God we serve! Jesus Christ in the burning fiery furnace made the terrific fire to become a cool nice breeze. Then follows the kings change of heart, proclamation of the true God to be worshipped by all people everywhere; and promotion granted to Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego; true and faithful servants of God Most High. All these indicate that Jesus Christ is the master of human relations.

Always stay blessed in Jesus Christ, the master of Human relations.
