THE VALUE OF COMPANIONSHIP
ECCLESIASTES 4:9-12
Ecclesiastes 4:9–12 (NIV): 9 Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
10 If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.
11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
12 Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Hi,welcome to The Stable Sanctuary. In Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, we are reminded that two are better than one. Together, we can achieve more, support each other, and uplift one another in times of need. As we navigate life’s challenges, having a companion by our side provides strength and encouragement. It’s essential to recognize the importance of building relationships that foster love, respect, collaboration and mutual support.
STRENGTH IN UNITY
The passage emphasizes that when one falls, the other can lift them up. This speaks to the heart of our shared human experience. We all face struggles, and it is in our interconnectedness that we find resilience. By coming together, we create a safety net for one another, ensuring that no one is left to face their challenges alone. Our collective strength allows us to overcome obstacles and celebrate victories, big and small.
PRESENCE OF A HIGHER POWER
The scripture beautifully illustrates that a cord of three strands is not easily broken. This metaphor highlights the significance of including a higher power in our relationships. When we center our connections around faith, hope and love, we fortify our bonds. This invit
es us to cultivate strong family institution as well as a community that reflects these values, creating an environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
A WEDDING EXPERIENCE
In John 2:7-10, Jesus Christ was invited to attend a wedding in Cana of Galilee. The presence of Jesus became a game changer. He worked out a miracle that was not expected. How much more miracles shall Christ work out for us when we make Him part and parcel of our marriages permanently? Tremendous indeed…….
