A HIGH CALLING

Genesis 41:44-52

Genesis 41:44–52 (NKJV): 44 Pharaoh also said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, and without your consent no man may lift his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.” 45 And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnath-Paaneah. And he gave him as a wife Asenath, the daughter of Poti-Pherah priest of On. So Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.

46 Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt. 47 Now in the seven plentiful years the ground brought forth abundantly. 48 So he gathered up all the food of the seven years which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities; he laid up in every city the food of the fields which surrounded them. 49 Joseph gathered very much grain, as the sand of the sea, until he stopped counting, for it was immeasurable.

Hello, Dear Child of The Mighty God in the highest heaven. Welcome to the Stable Sanctuary. Surely, we value you dearly. From the above stated Holy Bible Scriptures, we note how Pharaoh, King of Egypt had faithfully and sincerely delegated much of his authority to Joseph. Pharaoh gave Joseph a different name: Zaphnath-Paaneah; meaning life more abundant. This is an indication of A High Calling upon Joseph’s life. A High Calling comes from God. You and I have A High Calling upon our life. In this life, prepare to  work with God to have his set purposes accomplished. Check verses 44 and 45.

The name Joseph means Jehovah shall add. A combination of both names:Joseph Zaphnath-Paaneah automatically becomes: Jehovah shall add life more abundant. Here, John 10:10 becomes a reality; Christ Jesus came to provide us with life abundantly . Hereby, our high calling is fulfilled by Christ in us; Colossians 1:27.

PUBLIC IMAGE

Verse 46 illustrates Joseph’s public image. At age 30, he is being enthroned by Pharaoh; King of Egypt to become the king’s second in command. So Joseph is a fantastic young ruler! This shows that he was a man of great public image. Kindly learn how to cut a fantastic public image early in life. Our God is always watching. Also teach children and teenagers the value of integrity. With a good public image, you and I become kings and priests unto God (Revelation 1:5-6)

THE ASSIGNMENT

Now Joseph has a huge assignment on his hands: to ensure food security in the land of Egypt- verses 47,48 and 49.

Through Joseph, God works marvlously and the land produces exceedingly beyond expectations. Wow! This shows that with Christ Jesus in you and I we can produce fruits that far exceed all expectations in this life. Check John 15:5. Abide in Christ. He is present.

A FRUITFUL OUTCOME

Verse 52,”… God has caused me to be fruitful in the land…”This is Joseph’s testimony. You and I need God to be a testimony of Jesus Christ; to tell the great things that the Lord our God has done in our lives.Christ has  a desire for our fruitful outcome in The Kingdom of God(John 15:7-10). Always strive to excel to achieve fruitful working outcomes in Christ. Divine Approval is of very high value.
